When you’re working in a software project you want to be able to see our own task list. But you also often want to be able to see what others are doing. This is especially true if you’re a manager.
A new Exia feature makes it quick and easy to filter work items by the user to whom they’re assigned. Just open the Filter panel by clicking the Filter button at the top of any work item list. In the Assigned row of radio buttons, click Select. The drop-down list of users is enabled and you can select any user on your team.
If you want to see each user’s list in succession, just click the drop-down so that it’s the focused control, then user the up/down arrows to change the drop-down selection. The work item list will instantly adjust to show the items for the selected user. It’s a great way to get a bird’s eye view if you’re a manager.
